課程簡介 Curriculum Introduction

本校課程是參照教育局「幼稚園教育課程指引」2017而編訂的校本課程,內容主要由六個範疇組成,包括:語文、幼兒數學、大自然與生活、體能與健康、藝術與創意及個人與群體。我們會透過生活化主題,以綜合模式,讓幼兒從遊戲中學習達至均衡發展。

Our curriculum is a school-based curriculum designed according to the 「Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide」(2017) issued by the Education Bureau. It is made up of six Learning Areas, which are 「Language」, 「Early Childhood Mathematics」, 「Nature and Living」, 「Physical Fitness and Health」, 「Arts and Creativity」 and 「Self and Society」. With real-life themes and by the integrated learning approach, we encourage the young children to learn through play and help them attain all-round development.

以認識名詞為根本,以實物、影像豐富幼兒字庫。我們以聽、說開始,透過生活化和富趣味的課題,培養幼兒對中文的興趣;讓幼兒接觸不同類別的語文教材學習字型結構、組織句子、明白因果關係以創設有意義的情境等,逐步提升他們的語文能力。

Chinese

Based on teaching the young children new words, we enrich their vocabulary by images and real objects. Starting with listening and speaking, we foster the children’s interest in the Chinese language by amusing daily topics. Different kinds of language learning materials are used to help the young children learn about the Chinese character structure, the sentence structure as well as understanding the logic of the language. Besides, through creating scenarios similar to real life situations, we strengthen their learning and work to enhance their language ability step by step.

由以英語為母語的老師負責教學,提供輕鬆而自然的英語環境。

K1 - 採用劍橋英語教材豐富幼兒字庫,培養幼兒在與英語老師的互動下樂於運用簡單英語及建立他們以英語表達的自信心。

K2及K3 - 採用ABC Pathways School編制「Read4Fun」原音拼音教材學習原音拼合法(Synthetic Phonics),包括字母的發音及生字的正確讀音、合拼(blending)、解碼(decoding)技巧,並輔以牛津大學出版社教材「Get Set Go」豐富幼兒字庫。

English

Our Native-speaking English teachers provide a natural and relaxing environment for English learning.

K1 - We enrich the young children’s vocabulary with Cambridge teaching materials and encourage them to interact with the teachers in simple English so as to build their confidence to speak English.

K2 and K3 - We adopt the 「Read4Fun」 Synthetic Phonics materials prepared by ABC Pathways School to teach the children Synthetic Phonics, including the pure sounds of the alphabets, the correct pronunciations of the vocabularies, blending and decoding skills. 「Get Set Go」 teaching materials published by the Oxford University Press is also applied to enrich the vocabulary of the children.

解難

滲入STEAM教學元素,發展和延續幼兒的好奇心和探索精神,運用多種感官進行探索。學習對事物持客觀而開放的態度去觀察、提問和假設探究事物,並發展解決疑難的能力。

Problem-solving

We make use of STEAM education elements to cultivate and foster the curiosity and the spirit of exploration of the young children. They are encouraged to explore with their different senses. We support them to observe with openness and objectivity while inspiring them to go into inquiry by raising questions and making hypotheses which helps to develop their problem-solving ability.

創意

 推行『美育奧福音樂』教學模式,統合音樂、舞蹈、戲劇和視覺藝術各種遊戲抒發情感及表達意念。滿足幼兒對世界充滿好奇心和童真的想法,課堂上運用線條、顏色、形狀的視覺元素,表達情感、思想和創意。

Creativity

We adopt the 「Mei-Yu Orff Kids Music」 educational approach. Having game-based activities combining music, dance, play and visual art, we encourage the young children to express feelings and ideas and embrace their curiosity and innocent perspective towards the world. Visual elements such as lines, colours and shapes are included in the class to inspire children to express their feelings, thoughts and creativity.

提倡正向思維,學校營造友愛、尊重、接納、欣賞及和諧的學習氛圍,家校一心、共育擁有正面自我形象的幼兒!

  • 2019-2020年度參加香港中文大學 教育學院 大學與學校夥伴協作中心之「推動正向教育·邁向全人發展」計劃。

We focus on positive thinking and aim at creating a learning environment of friendliness, respect, acceptance, appreciation and harmony. While Family and School are standing as one, we nurture young children with positive self images together!

  • In 2019-2020, we participated in the project 「Positive Education for Whole Child Development」 organized by the Centre for University & School Partnership of the Faculty of Education, the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
